Welcome to Babbitt Baptist Church...

We pray that when you visit our church you will experience God's touch and blessings while you are with us. When the meeting is over we hope you will have the same feeling as King David when he said, "I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD."

Our Mission is to conduct worship services that meet the goal of Jesus when He said, "True worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks."

Our church is a member of the Baptist General Conference, a part of the evangelical churches of America. The Bible is the basis for our faith and conduct. We have a concern for fulfilling Jesus' Great Commission of taking the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the ends of the earth. This starts with the ministry to our Babbitt and Embarrass communities and then the support of a number of missionaries in America and worldwide.

Pastor Harris Youngquist and Mrs. Judy Youngquist...

Pastor Harris Youngquist and his wife, Judy, have served in this church since 1992. Previous to that they served as missionaries in Japan for 40 years. They have several children of which two are now missionaries in Japan.

***Farewell to Pastor Harris & Mrs. Judy Youngquist.  After faithfully serving us here at the Babbitt Bapist Church for 17 and 1/2 years, Pastor and Judy have made the decision to reture and spend some quality time at Lake Vermillion.  During this time together, we have shared many joys, sorrows, and trials.  Their leadership and dedication has been a shining example as to how we should live our Christian faith. 

We sincerely thank you for your leadership and testimony to all of us and to the community.

May God continue to use you in many wonderful ways that only He knows about.  

A Farewell Party for Pastor & Judy will be on Saturday, March 13th, at 5pm at the church.
